Despite the tremendous economic progress that has occurred in the developing world, access to good health care and education remains beyond the reach of so many children even in countries such as India.

Official government data and reports continue to highlight progress, but there remains the grim reality of widespread and abject poverty. This poverty precludes countless number of children benefiting from good health and education, which are both vital to enable children to lead normal lives and achieve their potential.

J K Shah Foundation was specifically formed to support and deliver health care and education initiatives to small rural communities that have been forgotten or ignored by governments and aid organisations. These communities are selected purely on the basis of need irrespective of their ethnic, racial, religious or cultural background.
